         Hey readers I found a juicy comic that while not having that action I crave has a intriguing story that hit my buy surprise. Today's comic is The Phoenix Requiem. Hope you enjoy this one as much as I do!

PROS: TOP NOTCH ART! I'll just leave it at that. Not only can she draw and color she can tell a engrossing story. The web site was a pleasant place to park my hat as I browsed around. A huge archive! 497  updates and counting. She updates multiple times a week putting out this type of work. There is a content warning for you to easily find.

CONS: I was hard pressed to even find one that stood out. But I found one big one! Despite the creators best efforts to supply as much information as possible I could not find how often she updates this comic anywhere.  Oh wait! I found it but it's in the faq section. I will still count this against her(but not too much) since I found it by accident looking for something else. Their is no blog to react to this great comic. Most comics don't really need one but those that are like graphic novels could use one of some sort. In that case her pages can be a little too wordy. Not a problem for me( I do that myself with my own web comic)  but some people don't like that. I had to put something here!

LAST WORD: A fantastic comic!  One that has managed to stay between 1-4 on the  Top web comic site that has over thousand web comics . quite a feat I dare say so myself. The art is great and the story just draws you into another world. You'll want to read this!

	OVERALL SCORE: 9.8
	CONCEPT: 10 Phoenix Requiem is a Victorian-inspired supernatural fantasy story about faith, love, death and the things we believe in. Because of the level of thought she put into this story and for the plot twist and interesting characters she scored over and beyond in this area.
	Art: 10 Another area Sarah killed it in. The art style doesn't remind my of any other style and it's not a manga clone. The characters and the backgrounds rock!
	Color: 10 Greatness! Sarah also showed a good use of light and shadow to top it off.
	READERSHIP: 10 I love the unique design of this web site. No flaws in spelling or grammar. All the  Information(except when she updates this comic) was so easy to find! I found the comic update info but I found it by accident looking in the FAQ section. You find how many pages and  chapters there are, who the characters are, what the story is about, who does the web comic. You have no idea how many web comics I see that you can't find simple information. So all web comic artist take notes!
	ENTERTAINMENT: 9.0 Phoenix requiem is one of those rare web comics, that despite the lack of fights and mayhem has such a compelling, interesting, and intriguing story that I found myself reading the wordy pages with a growing anticipation for what will happen next in the story. Plus all that talking isn't so bad because it does lead some where.
	CHANCES OF BECOMING A FAN: 10 After reading some pages in this comic I now see that it's number one rank in the Top 100 Web Comics is no fluke. While the lack of knowing when she updates was annoying was annoying until I happen to come across it; It was their on her site. I'm just used to seeing in on the first page some where. Because I'm a new reader I have a 497 page archive to keep me busy til I catch up. They next time I review your comic early next year it could cost you some points. You did such a good job with everything else I let you go. I hope you like this one as much as me. Comment and tell me what you think when you take a look. Highly recommended! Phoenix Requiem is actually right on the heels of Penny Arcade in overall greatness. In some ways it's a much better comic too. Penny Arcade reigns supreme (this year) because  it's ability to boast a high page rank and make profit. Next year I will add some things to make high scores harder to attain. So watch out!
