WEB COMIC REVIEWED: ANNYSEED
CREATOR: STUART J. BROWN
COMIC REVIEWER: ANTIONESTRIFE
UPDATES: N/A
Hope you guys had a happy 4th of July. My wife and I had a blast with fireworks, barbecue and the new Transformers movie! I haven't did a comic review for a awhile so here you go! The comic reviewed today is called
Annyseed.
PROS: The Annyseed web comic does a great job with a unique and cute art style to fit it's story line. While I can't put me finger on what direction the story may go in. It does very well in maintaining interest with out too much comedy, wit , or action. The main character is interesting and leads me to believe it's more to this Vampire girl's first day at school than meets the eye. There are also mix of different cultures to give the story some spice. Stuart J. has one of the better webcomic sites put together I've seen! Everything that is connected to this comic is easy to find and there is even some video.
CONS: Hmmm... I'm sure it will be explained, but she's a vampire that goes out during the day to school? It's nice to bend the rules but I always have a problem getting around that one. It does not say when he updates, but if I go by the dates on post it looks like 2-3 times a month. Real small archive, only 11 updates.
LAST WORD: Now this comic has some potential. I think Stuart said he re-did some of his comic or the video? Anyway it looks like he started from scratch and is on his way to a good start. I would like to see updates posted more frequent. Being as his post are low in number and this comic is a good read...I will be patient and see if he becomes faster in the future. This story is little different from other kids in school stories but not much. I have to see what direction the story will take before I form a definite opinion.

Anyyseed is the story of a vampire girl who wants to still have a normal life but has been around since 1955( Good thing she wasn't a little girl when she changed or that would suck, lol! This story has the potential to be something very good or at the same time be something we have see too much of already. Depends how he fleshes out the story. So be careful Stuart...

This comic is well drawn. The style stands out on it's own. The backgrounds look fine, but the characters look a little stiff at times. The facial feature are also sometimes off center.

A pleasure to read with good grammar and no misspells. This comic is for everyone so I would say it's rated PG. The Annyseed web comic while not having a blog is well put together. ONE OF THE BEST I'VE SEEN! Everything is easy to find and you can find out who the characters are quickly. My only gripe was when does he update? Being that is post count is low I let it go for now. Stuart has a pretty small archive but I see what he has a couple months from now.

This comic wasn't a strain to read at all. The main character just makes this car go. I just wondered how a vampire could survive in the sunlight with out a spell or some kind of ring. I know rules are made to be broken but that's big one with out a explanation. Once I got past that the story was quite fun.

I like it but I don't know when he'll update next. So until I know how often or when he updates I don't know when I come back any time soon. I recommend at least a look.
