Hey readers I thought I should pass some news to you guys before the next web comic review. Being a sports buff of sorts I was suprized to find St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Albert Pujols will be out for 4-6 weeks with a fractured left forearm, a devastating blow for a franchise hit hard by injuries this season. That guy is on such a tear with is amazing bating average! In 24 hours, he would be starting before 24000 fans in the College World Series, with Cal's storybook season on the line against Texas A&M. Although the news just broke that Jackass star Ryan Dunn passed away after a car accident early this morning, Roger Ebert took to Twitter to respond to allegations that he was drinking before getting behind the wheel! "Friends don't let jackasses drink and drive" Ouch! Holy cow bat man! TMZ has learned. Adult film star Sammie Spades tells TMZ she was going to community college in Buffalo, NY back in 2006 when she met then Senator Clinton at a banquet. The officers had information that the two were staying at the Day's Inn in Rockmart. Rockmart police officers were requested to assist Floyd County Sheriff's deputies with serving the two warrants at the Day's Inn.
Heidi Montag's new VH1 show, Famous Food, begins airing July 10, and we're wondering if she's already fishing for a new gig. If so, she's starting in shallow waters. The Hills graduate was spotted at a Wet Republic party in Las Vegas Saturday. I guess soccer has a preseason as well since Lionel Messi and Carlos Tevez both scored as Argentina defeated Albania 4-0 in a friendly on Monday, the South Americans' final warm-up before the Copa America. Miss America 2011: Beauty And Brains. Those who wrote the questions for the Miss America contest are very cruel (Remember the Paris Hilton debacle). The three most talked about players in recent weeks -- Terrelle Pryor, Plaxico Burress and now Tiki Barber -- combined for exactly zero yards, zero touchdowns and zero games played last NFL season. If the Stealers sign Tiki (who retired how many years ago?) I will not root for them at all this season. That's nuts! If there was one player that could receive more media attention than the Miami Heat's LeBron James leading up to free agency, it may be Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard. Howard, who averaged 22.9 points, 14.1 rebounds and 2.4 blocks last season. Being a resident of Orlando I hear this stuff more then I like. I could care less where he goes. He won't win here for the next few years for sure. Too much bad cap mangement from the heads of Orlando Magic. Well you can't say they don't try.
The first season of AMC's much-talked about series "The Killing'' ended on Sunday night with what many viewers and most critics believe was an entirely ambiguous (and frustrating) conclusion. The main story which is last but not least the latest Security Breach of Sega. Yes, the video game company. There has been another information blow leak in cyber space. Over 1.2 million SEGA Pass subscribers suffered in the latest cyber break-in. SEGA insists that it does not hold any confidential information such as credit cards; however, the information did consist of names, birth dates, e-mail addresses and encoded passwords. Bummer! As always click the links for info.
